Wheel Alignment is part of the standard automobile maintenance that consists of
adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the vehicle manufacturer
specification. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire wear and to make
sure the vehicle goes straight down the road, not pulling to the right or left.
Alignment angles can also be altered beyond the specifications to obtain a specific
handling characteristic for off road use or for the race track.
Alignments should be done by trained individuals to ensure accuracy. We use the
Hunter Hawkeye at Macs Auto Care a very precise machine that allows us to
perform them with speed and accuracy. We perform both 4 wheel and two wheel
alignments on most vehicles cars and trucks. We also can perform them on
vehicles that are lowered or raised.
If you have any questions or concerns about how your vehicle handles please stop
by or give us a call to make an appointment. We can check your alignment for free
to see if you need one and if you do it will only take about 45 minutes.
